Animagus fics: part 1

Well, I got the idea by looking through the many lists of

painless_j. There is no Animagus-fic-list yet, however, so I decided to make one.

What counts?
- Fics where Animagi play an important role
- Fics where people learn how to become Animagi

What doesn't count?
- canon-Animagi (Prongs, Padfoot, Wormtail, Rita Skeeter, McGonagall) - unless the fic is centered on them becoming Animagi.
- other transfigurations into animals such as Malfoy getting turned into a ferret by Moody
- only very vague mentions of someone being an Animagus. (If the fic contains neither training nor any actual use of the Animagus-form, I'm not interested. For instance in The Buried Life Hermione shows off at one time that she has mastered the transformation but it is not used again during the whole fic.), in particular if it's a minor character in the fic

I kind of abandoned this fic-list. There are just too many Animagus-fics out there to even come close to list them all. So I might still add fics where the Animagus-part plays really an important role. But I won't add any more fics where the fact that someone is an Animagus is peripheral at best.
